You should not have to
take our word for it

The hard part of a workshop is not the spanner work. It is that you cannot see what was done, so you have to trust whoever tells you what the car needs. So we show you first, explain the options, and only do what it actually needs.

  • The fault explained before anything is replaced
  • Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Honda and Volkswagen in the bay
  • Servicing, brakes, aircon, transmission and performance

The real problem

Nobody can check a repair they did not watch

You hand over the keys, you get a phone call with a number on it, and you say yes. You cannot see whether the part needed replacing. You cannot tell whether the fault was found or guessed at. That is the whole reason people ask around for a workshop instead of picking the nearest one.

Which means the only thing worth offering is the part you can check. The explanation before the work, and a bill with nothing on it you did not agree to.

Shown, then told

A reviewer wrote that the team inspected the car thoroughly, then explained the issues, the recommended repairs and the options, without any pressure.

Only what it needs

Another wrote that Ah Yong diagnosed the fault quickly and recommended what he needed only. That is a sentence about what was NOT sold to him.

Nothing hidden on the bill

One reviewer calls the pricing transparent and fair. Another says there were no hidden surprises. A third says it was the most reasonable price of any garage he knew.

How a job goes

Look, explain, then do the work

01

It goes on the lift

The car gets looked at properly first. One reviewer wrote that the team took the time to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and then explained the issues, the recommended repairs and the available options, without any pressure.

02

You are told what it needs

And what it does not. Another customer brought an Audi A4 B9 in for servicing plus an aircon, oil leak and driveshaft repair, and wrote that Ah Yong diagnosed it quickly and recommended only what was actually needed.

03

It gets done, at the price quoted

One customer calls the pricing transparent and fair, another says there were no hidden surprises, and a third says it was the most reasonable price of any garage he knew. Nothing appears on the bill that was not discussed on the lift.

What we do

Repair, maintenance, performance

The three words on the signboard. Call or email and describe the car and the symptom.

Diagnosis first

The fault gets found and explained before anything is ordered or replaced, with the options laid out and no pressure to take any of them.

Servicing

Routine servicing on continental and Japanese cars, with the oils stocked in the workshop rather than bought in for the job.

Brakes

Pads, discs and rear brake work, through to full big brake kits supplied and fitted.

Car aircon

Diagnosis and repair when it stops blowing cold, with the recovery and recharge equipment on site.

Transmission

Transmission fluid changes, and clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement.

Oil leaks and driveshafts

The awkward jobs underneath, found on the lift and put right.

Tyres

Performance tyres supplied, fitted and balanced on the machine in the bay.

Performance

The third word on our signboard. Braking upgrades and performance parts, fitted properly.

The workshop

What is usually in the bay

Continental and Japanese, standard servicing through to performance braking.

The oil is already on the shelf

Motul over the bay, with AMSOIL Signature Series and KENZOL SYN-X fully synthetic stocked in the workshop.

Eight one-quart bottles of AMSOIL Signature Series 100 percent synthetic motor oil on a shelf, in 0W-20, 5W-30 and 0W-40
AMSOIL Signature Series, 0W-20 through 0W-40
Four four-litre jugs of KENZOL SYN-X SAE 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil on a shelf
KENZOL SYN-X 5W-40 fully synthetic

Why it is on the shelf

A workshop that keeps its own oil in stock is not buying whatever is cheapest on the morning of your service. It also means the grade your engine actually wants is already here, rather than something close enough that arrived in the afternoon.
